Workshop Description
Small Form Sandcasting Workshop Over this two-day workshop, learn the fundamentals of small form sandcasting and expand your jewelry-making practice through this versatile casting technique. Using oil-based casting sand as a mold material, students will create simple rings, charms, and other small objects while gaining hands-on experience with essential tools, materials, and processes. The class also explores metal reproduction from wax carvings and the duplication of favorite components and findings. Ideal for both beginners and experienced jewelers, this workshop offers a fast, flexible introduction to creating both one-of-a-kind pieces and repeatable elements through sandcasting. The class fee includes all tools, expert instruction, and bronze metal for casting, silver is charged additionally according to use. Cancellation Policy
The "Pay in Person" option is only for cash payments at the time of your class. If you intend to pay with a card, please pay on the website at the time you book your class. If you have purchased a class or workshop and are unable to attend, the following policies are in place: CLASS CANCELLATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED 7 DAYS BEFORE THE CLASS OR WORKSHOP DATE, via email or phone call, to receive a credit for the amount of the class, minus a $15 cancellation fee. this credit must be used within 6 months of issue date or is no longer valid. Cancellations received between 7 and 4 days in advance of class will be refunded at 50% of the cost. Cancellation received within 3 days of the start of class will not be refunded or credited. If a class is cancelled or rescheduled by Acequia Jewelry Workshop, you will receive a full refund or class credit. this credit must be used within 6 months of issue date or is no longer valid. If you cannot attend a class or workshop due to a serious medical or family emergency, you are entitled to a full refund or credit, minus transaction fees, regardless of how close to the start of class we receive notification. PLEASE NOTIFY Acequia Jewelry Workshop AS SOON AS POSSIBLE before the start date/time of your class if such an emergency arises. If you do not attend your scheduled class or workshop and have not notified us via email or phone call before the start date/time of your class (due to a medical emergency or other cause) the full cost of the class is forfeited.
