What if I have to miss a workshop that I signed up for?
To cancel or reschedule a short workshop (2-4 hours) with a full refund we request that you contact us 24 hours in advance. Workshops canceled less than 24 hours in advance are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
For long-form classes spanning multiple days, or personalized experiences we request cancellation 7 days in advance. Cancellations less than 7 days before the scheduled class or experience will not be refunded. We may at our discretion, and dependent on availability, be able to reschedule you for a later date within six months of the original scheduled class at no additional charge. A full refund policy must be viewed and approved at checkout.
What is the maximum class size?
To ensure personal attention, most of our workshops are capped at 6 participants. For certain classes requiring specialized equipment the classes may be capped at 4 students. Please contact us if you have a larger group as we may be able to accommodate you with advanced notice.
What types of jewelry workshops do you offer?
We offer a variety of workshops including beginner classes, advanced techniques, metalworking, stone setting, and specialized workshops in design and craftsmanship.
How do I register for a workshop?
You can register directly through our website! Simply select the workshop you’re interested in and follow the prompts to secure your spot.
What materials do I need to bring to the workshops?
We provide most materials for our workshops. However, a list of any additional items needed will be provided in advance depending on the class. Occasionally there is an option to purchase stones or metal upgrades, and this will be noted in the class description. If you have your own tools or materials you'd like to use, please contact the instructor before the class begins to make sure what you have will work.
Are there any age restrictions for participants?
Participants must be at least 18 years old for any classes that include the use of fire or heat. Younger participants may join with adult supervision in classes that do not involve fire or heat. If you're unsure, ask us!
Do you offer gift certificates for workshops?
Yes! Gift certificates are available and make a perfect gift for anyone interested in jewelry making. You can choose your amount- from the full price of a course, one workshop, or a lower amount to help the recipient offset the cost.
Do I need any prior experience to join a workshop?
No prior experience is necessary for our beginner workshops. We welcome anyone with a passion for jewelry making!
How long do the workshops last?
Basic Workshops are about 2 to 3 hours and great for a visitor activity, or someone just wanting to get their feet wet in the world of jewelry making. Bring the group and play together! These can be booked according to your schedule during any available time slot on the calendar. These Workkshops include: Stacking Rings, Forged Earrings and Cuttlebone casting.
The Classes are often multi-day events that you attend every session of, and they are scheduled on fixed dates and times. You will see this distinction in the class description and on the calendar when booking. Classes include: Basic Jewelry Making, Wax Carving, Stone Setting, and Intermediate Metalsmithing.
