Workshop Description
The popular "paperclip chain" is a great intro to the skills of chain making. Each link is wrapped, cut, soldered and stretched to create an elegant and versatile look. This is a great everyday chain, and can be worn with chunkier pendants because of it's strength. You can adapt this chain to your personal style with variations like hammering the links, using different gauges or link sizes, adding granulation accents, patina and more. The class price includes all materials to make an 18 gauge sterling silver chain, 18 to 20 inches long, with add-ons available in-studio for thicker gauge wire and gold accents. The class takes place over two, four-hour sessions. Day one: decide on link size(s) and design wrap and saw wire links solder first set of links, stretch, assemble, repeat! Day Two: Continue soldering links, stretching, assembling until complete Fabricate clasp and solder on Patina, polish, finish! Beginners welcome, all necessary processes will be taught in the workshop, including torch soldering.

Cancellation Policy
The "Pay in Person" option is only for cash payments at the time of your class. If you intend to pay with a card, please pay on the website at the time you book your class. If you have purchased a class or workshop and are unable to attend, the following policies are in place: CLASS CANCELLATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED 7 DAYS BEFORE THE CLASS OR WORKSHOP DATE, via email or phone call, to receive a credit for the amount of the class, minus a $15 cancellation fee. this credit must be used within 6 months of issue date or is no longer valid. Cancellations received between 7 and 4 days in advance of class will be refunded at 50% of the cost. Cancellation received within 3 days of the start of class will not be refunded or credited. If a class is cancelled or rescheduled by Acequia Jewelry Workshop, you will receive a full refund or class credit. this credit must be used within 6 months of issue date or is no longer valid. If you cannot attend a class or workshop due to a serious medical or family emergency, you are entitled to a full refund or credit, minus transaction fees, regardless of how close to the start of class we receive notification. PLEASE NOTIFY Acequia Jewelry Workshop AS SOON AS POSSIBLE before the start date/time of your class if such an emergency arises. If you do not attend your scheduled class or workshop and have not notified us via email or phone call before the start date/time of your class (due to a medical emergency or other cause) the full cost of the class is forfeited.
